The fluvial procession, is another yearly event which is done a day prior to the feast day of St. Francis Xavier in order to seek the blessings of the Almighty for the sea waters of Palompon and most especially, bring more bountiful catch for the fishermen . Yesterday Dec. 2, 2022, the fluvial procession reflects the unity of the Church and the civil government as both entities collaborated in mutually supported all activities related to the fiesta. Upon arrival of the procession, Municipal Mayor Ramon Onate, Vice Mayor Ferdinand dela Calzada and SB members met and received the image of St Francis Xavier from the parish priest Fr. Aaaron Quilaneta, proceeded to the stage in front of the Municipal Hall and solemnly put st, Francis Xavier in place at the pedestal prepared for the purpose. This gave way to the offering of the Lawig festival dancers from the seven contingents.
