CSFBS on Free Range Chicken Management Graduation Ceremony
It is an oft-quoted saying, and one full of social wisdom: “Give a man a fish, and he will be hungry again to-morrow; teach him to catch a fish, and he will be richer all his life.” Today January 16, 2019, 26 farmer participants graduated from Climate-Smart Farm Business School on free-range chicken. The CSFBS enabled the farmers to understand climate smart practices in the production of free-range chicken.
Through the CSFBS, farmers were capacitated with knowledge, skills, attitude and aspirations in free-range chicken production and marketing techniques that can help increase profitability and at the same time preserve the environment. This project was initiated by ATI-RTC 8 in collaboration with LGU Palompon through the Municipal Mayor Ramon C. Oñate, Vice Mayor Georgina L. Arevalo, Center Director of ATI-RTC 8 Dr. Vilma C. Patindol, Center Director of ATI-ITCPH Dr. Ruth Miclat-Sonaco and Mr. Allen P. Goroy, project officer.
